Our fear can be a great guide to reaching our potential.

Can you recall any situation in your life, when you’ve been given an exciting opportunity to try something new, but you feared failure so much that you run away from it?

It is sometimes very challenging to make bold steps in life. Especially, when there is a constant battle in our head, where a doubtful voice screams out loud at us – PLAY IT SAFE!

Unfortunately, many people listen to these orders and settle for less than they can be.

THE PRESSURE COMES FROM MANY DIFFERENT DIRECTIONS

Since we were kids, we were told (by our parents, teachers, peers etc.) to walk with the crowd and often reminded not to stand out. We fear rejection as we have the need to be part of the tribe. We fear exposing ourselves because we fear criticism and judgment of others.

But you know what?

NOTHING GREAT COMES WITHOUT A RISK

We should fear way more missing our opportunities to live the life we want!

Isn’t it impressive how fast our brain can create 1000 reasons why not to do something? It takes some conscious effort to override our fear with a few reasons why YES! And act accordingly.

Given that, maybe it’s time to look more into your future and ask…

WHAT KIND OF PERSON WOULD YOU LIKE TO BECOME?

One day you will be sitting in your favourite rocking chair and reviewing all your life memories and experiences. Would you like to sit there fearfully and full of regrets or more with that joyful feeling of knowing: Yeah, I did it all!

Because you landed on this page I’m sure you are here to choose a fully lived life!

Now. Let’s…

THINK FOR A MOMENT

Which direction your fear wants to guide you?

Let’s think of one or a few things that you would like to do. Now, tell me why you haven’t done them yet?

After you just named all your excuses, it’s time, to be honest with yourself. What would be the one step that would get you closer? Yeah, only one!

Today looks like a perfect day to say boldly YES to a new challenge! Take that step!

These things that scare us are often our greatest life opportunities for our growth.

How do I know? I’ve been there. I’ve done it. If we always run away we have no chance to get better.

Therefore, we need to stretch ourselves. That is a way how we truly discover who we can become. Let’s begin this exciting adventure. Shall we?
