I recently came across an old note from August 31st, 2019. I had given 30 surf lessons in 31 days, with just 3 days off—and I was so proud of it. Looking back, I’m amazed at how much has changed in just a few years.

Last summer, I quit my job. I couldn’t have imagined then that I would somehow manage without needing to jump into another one. But deep down, I had made a clear decision: I no longer wanted to work for others. I wanted to create something of my own. I didn’t know how it would unfold, but I was committed. And slowly, the pieces started to come together.

After quitting, I naturally continued planning retreats and actively seeking what I could do with what I already knew. But life had a better plan for me. In my last ayahuasca ceremony, I received a clear message: it was time to truly integrate intuition into my life.

At first, it was challenging. I was so used to using my mind to plan and push. But a few months later, I can honestly say it was a turning point. That shift—learning to follow my intuition rather than control everything—is what brought real ease into my life.

Today, I live with more balance and freedom than I ever thought possible. I wake up without an alarm, let each day unfold naturally, and follow what feels right in the moment. I stopped chasing—and started receiving. Life became free-flowing, present, and full of quiet miracles.

I’m also amazed that I now get to enjoy weekends off — something I didn’t know was possible in my old rhythm. And now, standing in front of summertime, I realize how many years it’s been since I had the freedom to travel and be truly flexible. That alone feels huge.

Life feels magical when you let go of control and follow what lights you up. I’m still on the journey, but now I can see more clearly why I took that leap.

Wow, what a shift.

Takeaways from the journey:

  • You don’t need to have it all figured out to begin.
  • Commit to what feels true, even if it’s scary.
  • Let your intuition guide you more than your mind.
  • Rest is powerful—magic happens in the pause.
  • The more you trust, the more life opens up.
  • Ease comes when you align with the present moment.

Let go. Tune in. Receive.
