Two Ways to Ride on Land

Surfskating is more than training for surfing.
It’s a way to move, feel, and reconnect with your body — on solid ground.

I offer two distinct ways to work with surfskate, depending on what you’re looking for and how you want to meet the practice.

Both options are grounded, non-competitive, and adapted to your level.

1. Surfskate Sessions

Practical, technical, and supportive

These sessions focus on the fundamentals of surfskating as a physical practice.

They are grounded, clear, and oriented toward skill-building and confidence.

Focus areas include:

  • Technique and stance
  • Balance and coordination
  • Flow and body awareness
  • Enjoying movement without pressure

This option is a good fit if you want to:

  • learn or refine surfskate basics
  • improve flow and control
  • support your surfing through land-based practice
  • move your body in a simple, structured way

Clear guidance. Embodied movement. Calm focus.

2. Surfskate & Presence — Extended Sessions

A slower, more spacious way to work with movement

These extended sessions go beyond technique.

Surfskating becomes a tool for awareness, using movement to explore presence, sensation, and inner regulation.

This approach invites:

  • conscious, attentive movement
  • nervous system regulation through rhythm and pace
  • awareness of breath and sensation
  • listening to the body through motion

This option may resonate if you feel drawn to:

  • slowing down and feeling more
  • exploring movement as a form of meditation
  • reconnecting with yourself through the body
  • using surfskate as a reflective, embodied practice

Less instruction. More listening.
Movement as feedback, not performance.

A Note on Both Options

Both surfskate offerings are:

  • non-competitive
  • non-performative
  • adapted to your level and experience

There are no expectations and no pressure to perform.

You’re invited to explore each option and feel which one fits where you are right now.
